Our weaknesses

I have a blind spot , A place where I can 't see , And it 's growing larger every day . I try to ignore it , P ret end that it 's not there , But I can feel it staring at me , M ocking my attempts to hide . It 's like a black hole , S ucking the light from my life , And I know that someday it will consume me completely .

Bad thoughts

They come in the night , sl ithering through the shadows of my mind . I can feel their slim y tentacles probing , search ing for a way in . They are the things that lur k in the dark corners of my psyche , the monsters that hide in my subconscious . They are the things that I try to forget , but they always find a way back .

The 7 Doors by Derek Neilson - synopsis

The first door is opened To a world of darkness and despair A place where no light shines And only evil lurks At the second door, we find A scene of bloody violence Gruesome corpses strewn about As if death itself had come to call The third door reveals a sight That would make even the bravest man quail An unending void with creatures beyond imagining Crawling towards us, hunger in their eyes At the fourth door, we can go no further For before us lies madness incarnate A gibbering wreck that was once human Gives us one last look before lashing out The fifth door is locked tight But something pounds from within Begging to be let out, or begging for mercy We cannot say which The sixth door is a mirror And in it, we see our own reflection Staring back at us with cold, dead eyes And finally, the seventh door The way back home? Or another nightmare? Only time will tell As we step through into the unknown

Cursed keys

C ursed keys , that open up the door To all the ter rors that I 've seen and more What dark secrets do they hold ? Do they lead to a place where I 'll never return ? I can 't help but wonder as I grasp them tight What sort of fate awaits me beyond this door ? Is it a world of nightmares or something worse ? I may never know , for these cursed keys won 't let me go . They hold me captive in this dark and d re ary place Where the only sound is the beating of my heart And I can 't help but wonder , as I sit here in the dark W hat s ort of fate awa its me?

The Haunting

There is a knock upon my door In the dead of night I know who it is  I've been expecting her She's come to haunt me once again To remind me of my sin The child I killed, Rose I try to block out the memories Of that fateful day When I took her life But her ghost is here to stay To haunt me for eternity She whispers my name in the dark And I can hear her soft footsteps Following me wherever I go I can't escape her She's always there  haunting me I killed my own child And now I'm haunted by her ghost I can see her in the shadows Hear her crying in the night I can't escape her She's always there  haunting me
